How to Add Nominee In Upstox Account : Before 31st march, 2023 it is mandatory to add nominee in your demat account, otherwise SEBI may freeze your demat account. So you can follow these steps to add nominee in your upstox demat account –
- Login to upstox new app
- Click on Right bottom section of “Account”.
- Click on top section “profile” besides “funds” section.
- then click on “my account”.
- Again profile section will come, plz click on it.
- you will redirect to webpage and here click on “My Nominee”.
- click on add nominee.
- enter nominee’s name, dob, address with pin code, relation, mobile number, email id, PAN card number.
- upload any photo identification proof from both sides.
- allocate share percantage to that nominee, plz note that you can add upto 3 nominees.
- now the application is done but you need to sign it online so for that they will use aadhar esign by account holder.
- click on esign now/proceed to e sign.
- Insert account holder’s adhar number and hit send otp button to recieve otp on registered mobile number.
- enter otp recieved on account holder mobile number registered with his or her aadhar.
- your nominee addition request is successfull now. it will be completed within 24-72 hours.
