Steps for Closing the Account
Step 1: Stop Active Systematic Transactions (SIPs, STPs, SWPs)
- Before Kuvera account de-activated you need to stop any ongoing systematic transactions like SIP, STP or SWP. This can be done through accessing the SIP STP SWP tab of the Kuvera investor portal.
- Also before you proceed, go to the reports section to download a copy of your transaction history for future use. After deactivation of their account, you cannot access any of the data that was recorded in the account.
Step 2: Deactivate Your Account
- Click on the top right corner of your Kuvera screen, then select ‘Settings’.
- Click on Deactivate Account.
- This will instantly lock your access to the account and also an email will be directed to the registered email Id.
Step 3: Confirm Account Deactivation
- As a measure of ensuring only your formal actions deactivate the ggiven link, Kuvera will instantly send a verification email to the registered email address. All you have to do is click the link in the email to say that you really wish to delete the account.
- Once confirmed it will be deleted out of Kuvera active database. The account will actually be terminated, which means you will no longer have access to an account data.
